Taking the third place as the biggest mall in Africa is the Mall Of Africa which is located in Waterfall City, Midrand, Gauteng. The mall is also the biggest shopping mall in South Africa today. 5 . THE MALL OF ARABIA
In Egypt, the Mall Of Arabia is located in Cairo, Juhayna Square, and is covering approximately 267,000 square meters of land. It is now the fourth largest shopping mall in Africa, as of this year, 2022.
It is owned by a Saudi Organization called Fawaz Al Hokair. The place is still under construction and it has a parking space for 9,000 cars and has a total of 12 entrances. The mall on its completion will house luxurious hotels and a modern cinema complex, international gyms and casinos, and shops that stock global products.
5. CAIRO FESTIVAL CITY
The fifth-largest mall in Africa is another Egyptian shopping mall known as the Cairo Festival City. It is located in Cairo festival city in Egypt. The new Cairo Festival City is constructed on 70,000 acres to ease congestion in the old town of Cairo. It is developed by Al-Futtaim Group Real Estate.
