POSITION: Data Analyst Instructor
Job Description
We are looking for a committed and skilled Data Analyst Instructor to become part of our team. The Data Analyst Instructor will be tasked with providing top-notch instruction to students seeking careers in Data Analysis. This position demands proficiency in data analysis methods, statistical techniques, and tools for data visualization. The perfect candidate will possess a love for teaching, excellent communication abilities, and a dedication to promoting student achievement.
Main Duties:
- Create and present an extensive curriculum for data analysis classes, addressing subjects including data cleaning, statistical analysis, machine learning, and data visualization.
- Provide captivating lectures, presentations, and interactive activities to enhance student comprehension and grasp of intricate data analysis ideas.
- Offer personalized assistance and support to students, aiding them in managing coursework, assignments, and projects.
- Develop and oversee tests, evaluations, and assignments to assess students’ advancement and competence in data analysis abilities.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and developments in data analysis methods, revising course content and resources as necessary.
- Work together with coworkers and industry associates to improve the quality and applicability of the data analysis curriculum.
- Provide mentorship and career advice to students, assisting them in getting ready for positions in data analysis and similar areas.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a similar discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in data analysis, possessing skills in statistical techniques, data handling, and data visualization methods.
- Experience in teaching or tutoring data analysis courses is preferred.
- Expertise in data analytics software and programming languages like Python, R, SQL, or similar.
- Outstanding communication and presentation abilities, capable of explaining intricate ideas to learners with different levels of knowledge.
- Knowledge of data visualization software like Tableau, Power BI, etc.
- Excellent organizational abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
- A dedication to education and a focus on creating a nurturing and inclusive educational atmosphere.
- Capability to function both autonomously and in cooperation within a dynamic setting.
