2023 Radboud University Scholarships For International Students

37 master’s scholarships are being offered by Radboud University to highly qualified applicants in 2023. These scholarships are open to international students who are not citizens of the EEA.

The program is designed to assist applicants who are enrolled in the university’s master’s degree program. For the academic year 2023–2024, these funding options are available. Only talented individuals with exceptional academic achievements are eligible for the Radboud Scholarship Program, which is selective in nature.

Candidates that qualify must:

  • These scholarships are open to non-EEA international students.
  • Only those who meet the following requirements are eligible for a Radboud Scholarship.
  • Possess a passport from a country outside the EU/EEA
  • Have (or will gain) a bachelor’s degree that was earned outside of the Netherlands, have no degrees from the Netherlands, and have never attended school there.
  • Possess a high level of language ability
  • Have been officially admitted, as mentioned in the letter of admission, to the English-taught Master’s degree program beginning September 1, 2023.
  • Can meet the requirements to obtain a visa for the Netherlands
  • Are full-time students enrolled at Radboud University for the academic year and the Master’s degree program for which the scholarship is being awarded.

Benefits of Scholarships

The following faculties have a maximum of 26 Radboud Scholarships available for the academic year 2023–2024:

  • Nijmegen School of Management (2),
  • Faculty of Philosophy, Theology, and Religious Studies (1),
  • Faculty of Science (10), Faculty of Social Sciences (1), Faculty of Law (9), Faculty of Medical Sciences (1), Faculty of Arts (1) (2).

Your tuition will be reduced to € 2,209, thanks to the scholarship. For instance, a grant recipient in 2022/2023 will only have to pay €2,209, in tuition, as opposed to €16,000 in that year.

The Radboud Scholarship also includes coverage for expenses related to obtaining

  • a visa,
  • a residency permit,
  • health insurance,
  • and liability insurance (Insurance Passport for Students, or IPS).

Living expenses are not covered by the Radboud Scholarship, which is not a complete scholarship. You can discover a budget breakdown for international students who wish to live and study in the Netherlands for a year.

REGISTRATION PROCESS

What to Do:

There is no separate scholarship application process; the application for admission and the scholarship are completely merged. Acceptance into the program does not guarantee selection for RSP.

When submitting your application for admission using the OSIRIS Application system, you must indicate that you want to be considered for a Radboud Scholarship.

Documents in Support:

The following documents must be uploaded by applicants: copies of their valid passport or ID card, a motivation letter, a bachelor’s degree or it’s equivalent a verified copy of the transcript from a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent Degree and transcript translations, a certificate of proficiency in English, a handling fee, and a Resume.

Language specifications:

They must speak and write English fluently in order to take part in this program. The following is necessary for non-native English speakers:

  • A TOEFL score of 600 (paper-based),
  • 250 (computer-based), or 100 (internet-based),
  • an IELTS score of 7.0,
  • and a C- or higher on the Cambridge Certificate of Advanced English (CAE) or Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE) are required.
