AG Whitlam International Undergraduate Merit Scholarship

The A.G. Whitlam International Undergraduate Merit Scholarships are available to international students commencing the Bachelor of Commerce from one of the following countries: Bangladesh, India, Sri Lanka, and Vietnam. The scholarship provides up to 50% fee remission for the duration of the course (up to 300 points).

Eligibility & selection criteria

To be eligible for this scholarship, you must:

  • A citizen from one of the designated countries (for Semester 1: Sri Lanka and Bangladesh; for Semester 2: India, Vietnam, and Bangladesh)
  • Completed an approved Year 12 program or equivalent in a country other than Australia that meets the eligibility requirements for the Bachelor of Commerce
  • Students who meet the eligibility criteria are automatically considered

Selection criteria

Selection is made based on academic merit (ie the results you achieved in your most recent years of study).

Application process

No application is required. However, you will be automatically considered for this award if you meet the eligibility criteria.

When will I know the outcome?

Scholarships selection will be conducted in multiple rounds:

  • For Commencing students in Semester 1, 2023 –  between July 2022 to February 2023.
  • For commencing students in Semester 2, 2023 – between March 2023 to June 2023.

Successful applicants will be notified by online scholarship offer letters during the selection rounds. Unsuccessful applicants will not be contacted.
