    2023 HAN Scholarships For International Students Netherlands

    Applications are invited from international students to apply for the 2023 HAN University Netherlands Scholarships. The scholarship opportunity is open to students who are interested in studying for a bachelor’s or master’s degree program.

    The scholarship is offered in collaboration with the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture, and Science.

    2023 HAN Scholarships For International Students Netherlands Benefits

    The scholarship has been categorized into two types. Thus, scholarships for undergraduate and graduate students.

    HAN Undergraduate Scholarship Benefits

    • HAN Holland – € 12,500 for Non-EU/EEA students
    • Honors – € 7,500 for Non-EU/EEA students who didn’t get a scholarship in the 1st year

    HAN Holland Scholarship will offer successful applicants € 2,500 in the 1st semester and € 2,500 in the 2nd semester. Afterward, students will receive € 2,500 annually for a period of 3 years. To be eligible for this scholarship, students must continue to earn the required 45 credits every year.

    On the other hand, Honors Scholarship will be awarded by the academic board. The academic board will select students with outstanding academic results in their 1st year. This scholarship is awarded to students who meet the minimum requirements but did not receive a HAN Holland scholarship. Selected applicants will receive € 2,500 in the 2nd year. Thereafter, students will receive € 2,500 for the remaining years. Also, students should get the required 45 credits every year before they can earn this scholarship.

    HAN Graduate Scholarship Benefits

    • HAN Holland – € 5,000 for Non-EU/EEA students
    • Honors – € 2,500  for Non-EU/EEA students who didn’t get a scholarship in the 1st semester

    HAN Holland Scholarship offers successful students € 2,500 in the 1st and 2nd semesters respectively.

    The Honors Scholarship is a once-only payment of € 2,500 in the 2nd semester. It will be awarded by the academic board. An honors scholarship is awarded to students who meet the minimum requirements but did not receive a HAN Holland scholarship.

    Who Can Apply?

    Interested applicants should meet the requirements to qualify for the scholarship program offered by HAN University Netherlands.

    • To begin with, applicants should be nationals of a country outside the EU/EEA
    • Secondly, applicants should not have previously been enrolled in a degree at a university or university of applied sciences in the Netherlands.
    • Thirdly, applicants should have been accepted into a full-time English-taught degree program at HAN.
    • Lastly, applicants should have an IELTS score of at least 6.5, a TOEFL iBT score of at least 90, or a Cambridge Certificate (CAE or CPE)

     APPLICATION PROCESS:

    To begin the application process, interested applicants should follow the steps below:

    • Firstly, candidates should apply and get accepted into a degree program. Successful applicants will receive an email inviting them to apply for a scholarship. Kindly take note that all degrees start in September and only some are also offered in February.

    Those who apply on 1 April start tuition in September whereas those who apply on 1 October start in February the following year.

    • Interested applicants should prepare for the scholarship application. Applicants should submit the following documents when applying:
    1. A motivation letter.
    2. Curriculum Vitae (CV)
    3. Submit their application
