2023–2024 Florida’s Bright Futures Scholarship Program (USA)

The Florida Bright Futures Scholarship Program for 2023–2024 is now accepting applications from international students.

The scholarship permits enrollment in Postgraduate level programs in any of the subjects offered at Florida Institutes. The scholarship’s application cutoff date is August 31, 2023.

Description of the scholarship:

Applications for the Florida Bright Futures Scholarship 2023–24 are currently being accepted in the United States. The FBFS Scholarship USA is open to inhabitants of Florida who are either eligible noncitizens or United States citizens. Students who want to pursue higher study after completing their secondary education are eligible for this award.

Different Scholarships

For qualified students, the Florida Bright Futures Scholarship offers four different scholarship opportunities. The following lists the scholarship categories and their prerequisites:

UK GOVERNMENT SCHOLARSHIPS FOR 2023 OCEAN COUNTRY PARTNERSHIP PROGRAM

1 . Academic Scholarship for Florida (FAS):

  • Minimum weighted GPA of 3.50
  • Completion of 100 volunteer hours or 100 hours of compensated work.
  • Completion of 16 high school course credits successfully
  • Achieving a minimum ACT®/SAT® score by June 30 of the senior year of high school

2 . Florida Medallion Scholarship (FMS)

  • Minimum weighted GPA of 3.00
  • Completion of either 100 unpaid work hours or 75 service hours.
  • Completion of 16 high school course credits successfully
  • Achieving a minimum ACT®/SAT® score by June 30 of the senior year of high school

3 . The GSC, or Gold Seal Cape Scholarship

  • There is no set GPA requirement.
  • 30 hours of community service or 100 hours of paid labor.
  • Completion of five post-secondary CAPE (Career and Professional Education) credits
  • No ACT® or SAT® score is necessary.

GOVERNMENT OF LONDON AND UNIVERSITY AWARDS FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS

4 . The Gold Seal Vocational Scholarship (GSV)

  • A weighted GPA of at least 3.00 in all non-elective courses.
  • A minimum unweighted GPA of 3.5 in career-related courses
  • 3 full credits earned in a single Career and Technical Education program.
  • 30 hours of community service or 100 hours of paid labor.
  • No particular courses are necessary.
  • Achieving a minimum score on the ACT, SAT, or PERT examinations by June 30 of the high school graduating year.

Benefits of the scholarship

The Florida Bright Futures Scholarship will cover 100% of the chosen students’ tuition costs and 75% of their costs for the academic year 2023–2024 in the United States.

Nationalities that qualify:

You can apply for the FBFS Scholarship USA if you live in Florida and are a citizen of the United States or an eligible foreign country.

GOVERNMENT OF JAPAN METI INTERNSHIP 2023 (FULLY FUNDED)

Eligibility Requirements

  • Finish the Florida Financial Aid Application by the August 31 deadline following high school graduation.
  • Achieve a regular Florida high school diploma from a public high school in Florida, a private high school that has been approved by the Florida Department of Education (FDOE), or successfully finish a home education program.
  • Have never been convicted of a felony or entered a plea of no contest, unless the Governor and the Cabinet acting as the Executive Office of Clemency give them clemency.
  • Obtain acceptance and enroll in a degree or certificate program at a Florida postsecondary institution, public or private, that is eligible.
  • Enroll in a minimum of six non-remedial semester credits (or their clock or quarter-hour equivalents) each term.
