2022 UCL GLOBAL MASTERS SCHOLARSHIPS IN UK

The cost of funding for Master’s is quite expensive. Due to this, some students search for various ways to fund their Master’s education. UCL and other external organisations have taken it upon themselves to provide scholarships for Master’s students. The UCL Global Scholarships will however be our topic for discussion.

Additionally, the UCL Global Master’s Scholarship is meant to support and encourage international students who do not have enough funds to pursue a full time Master’s Degree at UCL. Application has been opened to all interested students and the deadline for this scholarship is on the 12th of May 2022. In as much as applicants can come from any country outside UK, there are still other criteria one must fulfil.

ELIGIBILITY FOR UCL GLOBAL MASTERS SCHOLARSHIPS

1. Applicant must be worthy enough to pay the overseas fee rate.
2. Must come from a low income background
3. Submit an admission application for Master’s degree at UCL before applying for UCL Scholarship.

HOW TO APPLY FOR UCL GLOBAL SCHOLARSHIP

It is important to note that, you cannot apply for UCL Global Scholarship if you have not submitted an admission application to UCL. Let’s look at the guidelines for applying for this scholarship.

1. Applicant must first login HERE with his or her credentials.
2. Next, on the Portico page, click on the “view” button for the Active application page to pop up .
3. After the application page pops up, click on “funding “ in the menu on top of the page.
4. On the funding page, scroll through to find out which funding you’re eligible for and click on “check and apply” .
5. Finally click on any of the Scholarships provided that you wish to apply for. The next page after that is the application itself. Fill in the necessary data and submit.Also, note that, for each of the Masters programme you wish to secure a funding for, you will have to submit separate scholarship application forms.

BENEFITS OF UCL GLOBAL SCHOLARSHIP

1. The Scholarships provided is accessible for a year.
2. With UCL Scholarship, you can still apply for other scholarships alongside.
3. The Scholarships will first be used to pay the students fees. Then the remaining will be paid to the student in three instalments throughout the academic year.
4. Applicants have a variety of about 70 Scholarships available to choose from.

FURTHER THOUGHTS
