2022/2023 INSTRUCTIONS FOR APPLICATIONS INTO HEALTH TRAINING INSTITUTIONS MINISTRY OF HEALTH
The Ministry of Health wishes to inform the general public that the online admissions portal for the 2021/2022 academic year will officially open from Monday 16th May, 2022 to Friday 29th July, 2022. Applications are invited from qualified candidates for entry into any of the Public Health Training Institutions in Ghana..
Applicants must:
Purchase application codes from any Agricultural Development Bank (ADB) or Ghana Commercial Bank (GCB) branch at a cost of Two Hundred Ghana Cedis (GHC200.00).
NOTE
- All purchased vouchers are valid up to 5th August, 2022 if not used. ii. No postage envelopes are required as all correspondence will be via SMS or E-mail.
- Upon payment, applicants will receive a voucher giving them a unique PIN and Serial Number.
- Have a dedicated phone number and a personal valid e-mail address for all correspondence. [Please NOTE: Do not use email address of relations]
- You will need your residential and Ghana Post Digital Address 5. Use the PIN code and Serial Number to access the application form online at

The Cost Of Nursing Training Form
The cost of the nursing training admission form for the 2022/2023 academic year will be Ghc 200.

Nursing Training Admission Requirements
WASSCE / SSCE Admission Requirements
• Firstly, WASSCE Holders: CREDIT PASSES (A1-C6) in Six (6)subjects comprising Three (3) Core subjects, including English Language and Core Mathematics, and Three (3) Elective subjects relevant to the course of study.
• Secondly, SSCE Holders: PASSES (A-D) in Six (6) subjects comprising Three (3) Core subjects, including English Language and Core Mathematics, and Three (3) Elective subjects relevant to the course of study.
In conclusion, Candidates awaiting the MAY/JUNE, WASSCE and NABPTEX RESULTS can also apply for nursing Training General Certificate of Education (GCE) Admission Requirements
The general requirement for GCE Applicant’s admission to Nursing Training are as follows:
Firstly, have passed three (3) subjects (at least, one of the passes should be Grade D or better).
Also, Have credit passes (Grade 6) in five GCE Ordinary Level subjects including English Language, Mathematics, and a Science subject (for non-science students) and an Arts subjects (for Science students)
